Port Washington Lions recently completed a vision screening for the Port Washington/Saukville Public and Parochial Elementary and Middle Schools.  Of the 1,028 students who were screened 94 were referred for follow-up by their physician.

Port Washington Lions Club Members Treasurer Brain Boettcher, and President Lion SRI Vasudevan present the Port Washington Police Departments Chief Kevin Hingis a check for $2,500.00 for the Flock Safety camera.

The FLOCK Safety Camera is used for public safety that helps neighborhoods, businesses,  and law enforcement in over 2000+ cities, to eliminate crime.   These cameras capture objective evidence, without capturing the identity of the driver and passengers, that create and deliver unbiased investigate leads to law enforcement.

Port Washington Lions Club and the Ozaukee Masonic Lodge presented two (2) Fire Suppression Tools (FST) each, to the Police Department & the Fire Department of Port Washington

Leader Dogs for the Blind

DG, Lion BJ Blahnik (and his guide dog Goober) spoke at the Port Washington Lions Club’s April Program meeting.  DG Lion BJ was presented with a check for $5,000.00 for the Leader Dogs for the Blind.  Monies were raised in combination with a generous gift from the family of Lion Rich Plier, In Memory and in Honor of Father, Donald Plier.

PWLC Lion President Jay Belke along with Lion Phil Groothausen and Lion Chuck Prendergast presented a $5,000 check to the Port Washington Food Pantry.
