For over 30 years, our club has earned and donated over $350,000 to help "serve" the less fortunate. We also promote the purpose of Lionism and fulfill its mission, which is to aid the hearing and visually handicapped.

Scott Mayer of Port Washington lost his sight several years ago and our Club has helped him gain an education to become a teacher by the donation of a Braille computer and two leader dogs.   We have contributed to many other projects which include talking workbooks for the Port Washington Library, a Braille typewriter and assisting local athletic teams.   More recently we have have Lions Camp in Roscholt, Wisconsin; committing monies to build a residence building, sports equipment and our support.  Three of our Club member's children have attended the Camp which is available to all handicapped by application to experience the outdoors for themselves.
