Scott Mayer of Port Washington lost his sight several years
ago, and the Port Washington Lions Club has helped him gain an education to become a
teacher by the donation of a Braille computer and two leader dogs. We have contributed to
many other projects, including talking workbooks for the W.J. Niederkorn Library in Port Washington, a Braille typewriter and assisting local athletic teams.
