Port Washington Lions Club Spring Blood Drive!

It’s clear to see, we can make a difference one child at a time.

 

Port Washington Lions recently completed a vision screening for the Port Washington/Saukville Public and Parochial Elementary and Middle Schools.  Of the 1,028 students who were screened 94 were referred for follow-up by their physician.  

Congratulations Melvin Jones Recipient Lion Kurt Kleparski!

Lion Kurt Kleparski received the ‘Melvin Jones Award’ on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Lion Kurt is a member of the club Port Washington Lions Club (PWLC) since 1994 and a Past President of the club (2005-2006). He was honored with this award by his fellow Lions, along with his wife Bev.
He was recognized for his many years of service in the club, Port Washington Community, and especially his involvement in the club’s annual Fish Day & Lions Fest/Fish Derby events.
The Melvin Jones Fellowship award is the backbone of the Lions Foundation and is presented to an individual Lion who has made a tremendous contribution to humanity and to the legacy of its founder, Melvin Jones, who had a personal code-“You can’t get far until you start doing something for somebody else”.

PWPD Flock Camera Check Presentation

Port Washington Lions Club Members Treasurer Brain Boettcher, and President Lion SRI Vasudevan present the Port Washington Police Departments Chief Kevin Hingis a check for $2,500.00 for the Flock Safety camera.

The FLOCK Safety Camera is used for public safety that helps neighborhoods, businesses,  and law enforcement in over 2000+ cities, to eliminate crime.   These cameras capture objective evidence, without capturing the identity of the driver and passengers, that create and deliver unbiased investigate leads to law enforcement.
